Universal Insurance Plc. receives directive from the Corporate Affairs Commission to hold its Annual General Meetings

The Management of Universal Insurance Plc. (The Company) hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange), its Shareholders, Stakeholders and the Investing Public that following the lapse of time within which the Company could hold its Annual General meeting (AGM) for the years 2017 and 2018, the Company applied to the Corporate Affairs Commission (The Commission) for an extension of time to hold the said AGM. The Commission however declined to grant an extension due to lapse of time.
