This insurance cover is a good substitute for Contractors All Risks Insurance most especially where the work to be done is predominantly machinery erection and involves testing and commissioning of the plants.

As in Contractors All Risks, the cover provided is in two sections via:

Section 11 of the Policy provides cover for the insured’s liabilities to third parties.

  • Property to be erected

  • Freight

  • Customs duties and dues

  • Cost of erection

  • Civil Engineering Work

  • Clearance of Debris

  • Property located in the principal’s premises or on the site belonging to the principle or held in care, custody or control.
