The main thrust of this Insurance Cover is protection against damage to boiler or other pressure vessels that may be proposed for Insurance as well as damage to surrounding property be it the Insured’s own or third party fatal or non – fatal injuries following explosion and or collapse of boiler / pressure vessels.

Explosion or collapse of boiler or other pressure vessels may be as a result of hidden and undetected weakness and flaws in condition, workmanship and materials or human element i.e. moral hazards. It could also be due to overloading and failure of protective devices.
